Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is the study of how the brain works in regards to classification and usage of thoughts. It looks at how we code information, how the brain is used to create action and how this relates to emotions. NLP works at the very foundational level by looking at what makes a thought a thought!
This is important in regards to achieving your goals because how you think about food, exercise and your goal will have a direct influence upon your actions which will determine your results. Using NLP you will be able to transform how you feel about food, exercise and control your emotions. It will give you rpowerful life skills outside of the exercise field.
NLP works by becoming aware of how you create your own thoughts, e.g. think of somethign you like, and then something you do not like, e.g. I like cats, but hate dogs. Now ask yourself, how do you know you like one thing but hate the other? If you spend the time thinking about this and do not stop at the usual answer of " I just know" you will be working at the level that NLP operates. The answer incase you are wondering is to do with how you picture, hear or feel your thoughts. This is called submodalities
